Malang – PT Bestprofit Futures Malang (BPF Malang) together with the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Malang Raya held a badminton tournament with a total prize of millions of rupiah on August 17, 2024.
This tournament was held to coincide with Commodity Futures Trading Literacy Month and a fun sporting event that also increases understanding and literacy about the PBK industry for the media and the general public.
There are prizes of millions of rupiah and attractive door prizes in the form of shopping vouchers and cash for the winners.
“This activity was deliberately designed uniquely by combining elements of sports and education. Because in the PBK literacy month, it generally prioritizes seminars and the like, but we combine it with badminton so that it contains elements of health, fighting spirit and knowledge,” explained Andri, Head of the BPF Malang Branch.
In August 2024, it also coincides with welcoming the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, so that through this activity, it also fosters a fighting spirit and Nationalism in addition to the BPF Malang event which wants to establish closer brotherhood and cooperation with media friends so that a stronger and more productive relationship is built between industry players and the community.
The BPF Malang and PWI Malang Raya Badminton Tournament consists of men's and women's doubles teams and mixed teams at the Platinum Araya GOR. There are a total of 50 teams competing.
"We hope that this tournament will encourage media friends to participate in sports events while building deeper relationships with BPF Malang people," explained the Head of PWI Malang Raya, Cahyono.
As a place for PBK education, BPF Malang also provides a PBK education booth at the tournament location. Participants who want to learn a lot about PBK can visit the booth and even try a free demo trading account.
"Hopefully this event can be an innovative program that inspires other parties to socialize PBK in a fun and targeted way," concluded Andri.
